HomeSelf Relationship QuestionsWhat to do when experiencing an anxiety attack alone?
Roy Murray asked 5 months ago
A lot is happening in my life. While I want to take care of myself more, my anxiety seems to be getting worse. I have been having anxiety attacks more frequently and they seem to be stronger than before. When it happens, I am usually alone and it's really scary.

If you're experiencing an anxiety attack, the most important thing is to focus on your breath. Taking deep, slow breaths can help to calm your body and mind. Additionally, it's helpful to remind yourself that the anxiety attack is only temporary and will eventually pass. If you can, try to find a quiet place to sit or lie down until the attack subsides. And finally, don't forget to be kind to yourself – this is not your fault and you are not alone.
