HomeRomantic Relationship QuestionsWhat to do if your boyfriend has been untruthful?
Rila Thomas Staff asked 5 months ago
I have been dating my boyfriend for a year and a half. We have a great relationship, but lately, he has been untruthful about some things. For example, he told me he was working late when he was really going out with his friends. I'm not sure what to do or how to trust him again.

If your boyfriend has been untruthful, it's important to sit down and talk to him about it. Let him know how his actions made you feel and why you're upset. If he's truly sorry for what he did, then give him another chance. However, if he continues to lie or tries to hide things from you, then it might be time to move on.In the meantime, try to focus on the positive aspects of your relationship. Remember why you're with him in the first place and what drew you to him in the first place. If you can't seem to let go of the hurt and betrayal, then it might be best to talk to a professional about how to deal with it. Trust is an important part of any relationship, so if it's been damaged, it will take time and effort to repair it.
