I have a best friend and she seems to not like the idea of being in a romantic relationship. She always says that she doesn't want to be tied down and she doesn't want to deal with all the drama. I don't understand why she feels this way. Can you explain?

Well, there are a few different reasons why people may hate the idea of being in a romantic relationship.
Some people simply don't like the idea of being "tied down" to one person. They may feel like they need their freedom and independence, and a romantic relationship would just get in the way of that.
Other people may not like the idea of dealing with drama. Relationships can be a lot of work, and sometimes they can be quite emotional. If someone is not interested in dealing with that kind of drama, then they may choose to avoid relationships altogether.
Lastly, some people just don't believe in love or think that it's overrated. They may have seen their parents go through a tough divorce or have had their own bad experiences in relationships, and so they just don't believe that it's worth it.
Whatever the reason, there are plenty of people out there who don't want to be in a romantic relationship. And that's perfectly okay!
