HomeProfessional Relationship QuestionsWhat is the best way to tell my boss that I don’t want to do a task with my co-worker?

Gina is my colleague and I don't really get along that well. We are fine when we are working on our separate tasks but there is this one project that our boss wants us to work on together. I really don't want to do it because I know that it will just end up in a big argument. What should I do?

Gina must ba a terrible employee for you to not want to work with her. To approach this situation, be honest with your boss. Tell your boss about your experience with Gina and why you don't think it would be a good idea to work with her on this project. Hear your boss's feedback and try to work something out that would make everyone happy.
