HomeFriends Relationship QuestionsWhat if I don’t like my friend’s significant other?
Roy Murray asked 5 months ago
I have this friend who is dating someone I really don't like. I don't know why, but I just can't stand the guy. It's causing a lot of tension between my friend and me, and I don't know how to fix it.

It sounds complicated. On one hand, you want to support your friend, but on the other hand, you can't stand her boyfriend. Unfortunately, there's not really an easy solution here. You could try talking to your friend about your concerns but be prepared for her to get defensive. It's also possible that she already knows how you feel and is choosing to ignore it. In that case, you might need to step back and re-evaluate your friendship. If you can't accept her boyfriend, then it might be best to distance yourself from the situation.
