I love spending time alone. I always have. Even when I was younger, I would often find myself wanting to be alone instead of being with other people. And now that I'm an adult, I've only become more introverted. I like spending time by myself, doing things that I enjoy without having to worry about other people.
However, lately, I've been feeling guilty about my introversion. I see all these articles and social media posts about how important it is to be social and to build relationships with others, and I start to feel like maybe I'm doing something wrong by choosing to spend time alone.
There is nothing wrong with preferring to spend time alone! Everyone has different preferences and needs when it comes to socializing. Some people are perfectly content being alone most of the time, while others need to be around other people more often. There is no right or wrong answer, and you should not feel guilty for choosing to spend time alone.
Of course, it is still important to build relationships with others and to be social occasionally. But if you're happy spending most of your time alone, then there's nothing wrong with that. You should do what makes you happy!
