If your long-distance partner wants to meet in person, but you're not ready, what you can do is talk to them about it. Clarify your concerns and let them know what you're thinking. Either way, it's important to communicate with your partner and come to a decision that works for both of you. Take note, you have to be careful in explaining. Otherwise, it might get lost in translation and your partner might think you're not interested in meeting up with him/her.
