HomeFriends Relationship QuestionsMy friends are always talking about their significant others and I’m starting to feel left out. What should I do?

I've been hanging out with my friends a lot lately and it seems like all they ever talk about is their significant others. They'll be talking about how much they love them, what they did together, and all the plans they have for the future. I'm happy for them but I can't help but feel a little left out. I don't have a significant other and sometimes it feels like my friends are excluding me. What should I do?

Talk to your friends about how you're feeling. They might not even realize that they're excluding you and they'll be happy to include you in the conversation. You could also try joining a club or group where you can meet new people who share your interests. That way, you'll have more things to talk about with your friends and you won't feel left out. Whatever you do, don't let your friends make you feel bad about yourself. You're just as valuable as a member of the group, even if you don't have a significant other.
