I've been at my job for about a year now and I'm starting to feel like I'm underpaid. I'm not sure how to approach my boss about it, though. Do you have any advice?

When it comes to asking for a raise, the best thing to do is to be prepared. Make a list of all the reasons why you deserve a raise and be ready to back them up with examples. You should also have a specific number in mind that you would like to receive. And remember, it's always okay to ask for more than you think you'll actually get. Your boss will probably counteroffer, so it's good to have some wiggle room.
