HomeSelf Relationship QuestionsI keep having negative thoughts about myself, how can I stop?

I seem to be stuck in a cycle of negative thinking. Every time I look in the mirror, all I see are my flaws. I don't know how to break out of this mindset and start seeing myself in a positive light.

One thing that has helped me is to reframe my thoughts. Instead of thinking "I'm so fat," I tell myself "I am comfortable and healthy." Or instead of thinking "I'm so stupid," I tell myself "I am smart and capable." It takes practice, but eventually, these more positive thoughts will become automatic. Additionally, it's important to focus on your good qualities – both inside and out. Make a list of things you like about yourself and refer to it when you're feeling down. And finally, don't forget to be kind to yourself – this is not your fault and you are not alone.
