HomeSelf Relationship QuestionsI feel like I’m not good enough for anything. How can I change my thinking?

I was always told that I wasn't good enough and now I believe it. I don't think that I'm smart enough, pretty enough, or good enough for anything.

It is important to understand that your thoughts are not necessarily facts. Just because you think you're not good enough, doesn't mean that it's true. Start by challenging your negative thoughts. For example, if you think "I'm not pretty enough," ask yourself "Why do I think that? What evidence do I have to support this?" Once you start to question your negative thoughts, you can begin to change them. Additionally, seek professional help if you are struggling to control your negative thoughts.
