Ever since I was in high school, I've had a problem with being self-destructive. It's like I can't help myself from doing things that I know are bad for me, even though I don't want to do them. I've tried everything from therapy to medication, but nothing has worked. Is there anything else I can do?

First of all, I am so sorry that you have been struggling with this for so long. It sounds like you have really tried everything you can think of to try to help yourself, and that is commendable.
I think the best course of action to take is to consult a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. They will be able to help you figure out the root cause of your self-destructive behaviors and come up with a tailored plan to help you stop them. If you don't feel like you can afford professional help, there are also many online resources and support groups available that might be helpful for you.
