HomeProfessional Relationship QuestionsHow to stop being a workaholic?
Rila Thomas Staff asked 2 months ago

I am a workaholic. I always put work before anything else. And because of that, I've been neglecting my health and my personal life. I know it's not good for me, but I can't seem to stop. I'm so used to working all the time that I don't know how to relax. Help!

If you're a workaholic, it's important to make some changes in your life to improve your health and wellbeing. Here are a few tips:

  • Set boundaries between work and personal time. Make sure you're taking breaks and not working all the time.
  • Schedule some leisure time into your week. This could be something as simple as taking a walk or reading a book.
  • Talk to your friends and family about your workaholic tendencies. They can help you hold yourself accountable and make sure you're making time for the people who matter most to you.
  • Seek professional help if you feel like you can't manage your work addiction on your own.
