I met my girlfriend in college. We hit it off right away and started dating. A few months into our relationship, we found out that she was going to have to move away from her job.
We decided that we would make a long-distance relationship work. We would call, text and video chat every day. However, we argue more than we used to and it's starting to affect our relationship.

There are a few key steps that you can take in order to make a long-distance relationship work.
First, set aside time every day to chat or video call with your partner, even if it's just for a few minutes.
Second, try your best to keep any arguments to a minimum. If you do find yourselves arguing more than usual, try to take a step back and figure out what the root cause of the problem is.
Lastly, make sure to schedule regular visits with each other, even if they're just weekend trips.
