Sophia is naturally an extroverted person and I am an introvert but we are good friends. Whenever she starts talking, she does not know when to stop and I feel like she is talking over me or does not value my opinions.

It sounds like you have different communication styles. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it can be challenging at times. I think, personally, what you can do is to set boundaries with your friend. When she starts talking, let her know that you're happy to listen, but you also need a chance to speak. Perhaps you could say something like, "I'm happy to listen, but I also need a chance to share my thoughts." Or, "I can only listen for so long - I need a break." It's important to be assertive but also respectful. Your friend might not even realize that she's talking over you, so it's worth a conversation.
