HomeRomantic Relationship QuestionsHow to deal with feeling like you are not good enough for your partner?
Roy Murray asked 5 months ago
I have been dating Sarah for six months and I really like her. But lately, I have been feeling like I am not good enough for her. She is so beautiful and smart and I feel like I am just not on her level. I don't want to lose her, but I am afraid that is what will happen if she finds out how I feel. What should I do?

It sounds like you are really struggling with your self-confidence right now. That is understandable, but you need to remember that Sarah chose to be with you for a reason. You are good enough for her, or else she wouldn't be with you. Talk to her and express your concerns. She will likely assure you that you are just as good as she is. If she doesn't say that, then maybe she isn't the right person for you. I think your issues with yourself are roots in low self-esteem and it would be a good idea to talk to a therapist about that.
