I have been trying to cut off my toxic friend for a while now, but it's been hard. We've been friends for so long and she always seems to find ways to weasel her way back into my life. I am afraid that she might react aggressively if I cut her off. What to do?

There are many different ways to deal with a toxic friend, including communicating openly and honestly about your concerns, setting boundaries and limits, and removing yourself from the situation entirely
It is important to remember that you have a right to protect yourself from toxic people, and there is no shame in ending a friendship if it is no longer healthy for you. If you are worried about how your friend might react, it is best to consult with a trusted friend or family member before taking any action
