HomeProfessional Relationship QuestionsHow do I tell my boss that I don’t want to meet early in the morning?
Roy Murray asked 1 month ago

My boss always randomly require me to have meeting with him although I have already stated in my contract that my working time is only from 9am-5pm. And he would like to have the meeting as early as 7 am in the morning which means I need to wake up earlier and this really affect my daily routine

You should start by explaining your situation to your boss and let him know that you are not available to meet early in the morning. If he persists, you should remind him of your working hours as stated in your contract. If he still does not listen, you may need to speak to HR about the situation. You should do what is best for your career and your family. If meeting early in the morning is not possible, then you should explain this to your boss and try to work out a compromise.
