HomeSelf Relationship QuestionsHow do I start waking up early?
Roy Murray asked 1 month ago

I read from a reliable study that waking up early has a lot of benefits like increased productivity and more time for self-care. I want to start waking up early, but I'm not sure how. I've tried a few times, but I always end up hitting the snooze button and going back to sleep. Can you give me some advice?

Try setting your alarm for a reasonable time - if you're trying to wake up at 6 am but you're used to sleeping until noon, it's probably not going to work. Start with something more manageable, like 7 am or 8 am, and gradually move your wake-up time earlier as you get used to it. Then, it can be helpful to set multiple alarms so that you have a better chance of actually getting up. And finally, try to make your bedroom as conducive to sleep as possible - dark, quiet, and cool are ideal.
