HomeFriends Relationship QuestionsHow do I say “NO” to a friend’s hangout?
Roy Murray asked 1 month ago

I don't want to become a social outcast, but I really don't want to go out tonight. Maybe if I just go and then sneak away early? Or maybe I should just say no outright and risk offending them?

It can be tough to turn down invitations, especially from friends, but sometimes you just need some alone time. You can try giving a reason why you can't go, like saying you're not feeling well or you have other plans. If they keep pressuring you, be firm and say that you really don't want to go. They might be disappointed at first, but they'll understand. And if they don't, then maybe they weren't really good friends to begin with.
