I was always told that I needed to change in order for people to love me. As a result, I have never really loved myself because I constantly felt like I wasn't good enough. I want to learn how to love myself for who I am, but I don't know where to start.
One of the best pieces of advice I've heard is to "treat yourself like you would treat a good friend." This means being patient, understanding, and forgiving with yourself – especially when things are tough. Additionally, it's important to make time for activities that make you happy and help you relax. This could be anything from reading, going for walks, or taking a yoga class. By making self-care a priority, you'll be better equipped to handle whatever life throws your way.
