I feel like I am not good enough. I always compare myself to others and am never satisfied with what I have accomplished. I want to be thinner, smarter, and more successful. I am not sure how to change the way I think about myself, but I know that I need to start somewhere. I really need help with my self-esteem.
One way to work on improving your self-esteem is to list your accomplishments, both big and small. You can also try to focus on your strengths rather than your weaknesses. Additionally, it can be helpful to surround yourself with people who are supportive and positive, and to avoid negatively-minded individuals. Finally, make sure you give yourself time to relax and enjoy your hobbies and activities outside of work or school. Relaxation can help reduce stress, which can in turn improve your self-esteem.
