My friends always tell me that I am not very self-aware. I am not really sure what that means or how to go about fixing it. Can you help me?
Self-awareness is the ability to know and understand your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It sounds like your friends are saying that you are not very aware of how your words and actions affect other people. One way to start becoming more self-aware is to pay attention to the way you interact with other people. After you have interacted with someone, take some time to reflect on how the interaction went. Did you say or do anything that might have hurt the other person's feelings? If so, why do you think that happened? What could you have done differently? As you start to become more aware of your thoughts and actions, you will also start to become more aware of how your words and actions affect other people. Thanks for reaching out for help. I hope this advice was helpful.
