HomeProfessional Relationship QuestionsHow can I deal with work frustrations?
Roy Murray asked 5 months ago
I work in a marketing firm and often times I am given tasks that are outside of my job scope. For example, I may be asked to do things like writing an article even though I am not a copywriter. While I understand that this is part of working in a team, it can be frustrating when my work is not recognized.

First, you should talk to your boss about your frustration. Explain that you feel like you're being asked to do too much work that is outside of your job scope. If your boss doesn't listen or tries to brush off your concerns, you may need to talk to HR or look for a new job.
